well, 2 weeks since my last post ‘n’ its been quite a busy couple of weeks, did the LARP show at Elsecar, great show with a great atmosphere, have a whole new range of ground meat Jerkies on the website which is why Ive been to busy to post, to busy inventin new snacks lol

A great weekend, did mumbles market on saturday and riverside today, cracking weather, good crowds and the new ground meat jerky went down a storm, pretty tired now though lol, also found out The Creepshow are coming over from Canada in April, a really really good live band

and suzie has given permission for me to bail for a week, and do all the UK dates,one of the many reasons I love her is her generosity ( and her inability to withstand my constan t wineing n moaning n pleading LOL)

Had a great couple of days, managed to hand slice 150 kilo’s of venison and invented 2 new snacks Ground Venison Curry Stick ( mmmmm not sure bout the name though lol) and Lewis and Clark Venison Trail Mix, venison jerky made using the orgional maricade recipe that was used on the Lewis and Clark expedition to explore western american in 18** ( the date eludes me this very second ), mixed with cranberries, blue berries and other native american fruit, nuts etc and then smoked. Its lush

Been to cardiff and The New York Deli are now officially stockinst of Martins Jerked meat, this week they took Red Wine n cracked Pepper and Suzies Blueberry Squares, they’re going to see how they go and then maybe take on other flavours, though the Jack Daniels Teryiaki testers I took down there today were very popular with the staff lol, I also had the BEST mince ball grinder for dinner in the deli, abso-bloody-lutely lush. Also dropped off the new label for Steven (owner of Wallys) opinions and also a selection of the other flavours we do as they liked the Red Wine I left them with last week, I also dropped off a selection of our veggie jerky n fruit scrolls to a sandwich bar in the Royal Arcade called Fresh, so fingers crossed thats another one on the books .

The meeting went very well lol, we have a few things to sort out but , fingers crossed, we may be in bigger shops in maybe 6 months to a year , we need waaaaaay bigger premises though so we’re looking around now for a bigger place, hopefully still in the same area but who knows .

Just getting ready to meet the LocalProduce aisle stocking fella for Asda’s in Cwmbran about stocking their stores in Wales with our jerky, as its all locally reared meat it “should” work lol, also invented yet another range last night, biltong n jerky cut very very fine tossed with peanuts, cranberries, blueberries, raisins , currants, dark choc bits, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and its called Cowleys Jerkylicious Fruit ‘n’ Nut , tastes lush , well, looks like we’re going to Cwmbran now, see ya
